SEPARATION OF AMINES AND ACIDS BY STERICALLY HINDERED POLYMERS.

1980
In recent years a number of polymeric reagents have been extensively utilized as specific polymeric adsorbents for biologically active compounds and metallic ions1,2. In general, for a selective separation of substrates, specific polymeric reagents which are capable of selectively binding one or a few species in a complex mixture are chosen. This step would be followed by isolation of the polymer bound compound from the mixture.
