Design of New Type of Closed Precision Forging Dies for Blank of Driven Bevel Gear

There is vertical flash on inner hole of forging by the forging die for blank of driven bevel gear difficult to remove and follow-up machining procedures obstructed.A new applied forging die has been presented, with a float mould core and a float concave die,forgings within a closed ring cavity formed by two dies without any flash produced and that weight of blank decreased by 5.5%, cost greatly decreased.
