Acoustic Emission Testing for the Large Vacuum System and Analysis of Signal Source Data

For the large vacuum systems, which is in the condition of vacuum testing, acoustic emission testing and stress–strain test were implemented in the areas of stress concentration. Elimination of noise by interference, combined stress–strain test results, the data of signal source was analyzed. Results show that the monitoring for the areas of stress concentration and structure instability, forecast can be achieved effectively. And then, an effective security evaluation method, which is applied to the online testing and later inspecting of the large vacuum system, is proposed.
