The exploitation of the key tourist cities along the Silk Road in the northwestern China

This article states the present development of the tourist cities in northwestern China and puts forward the special structure concept of the urban economic zone and five urban circles of tourist areas along the Silk Road. The urban system of tourist areas in the northwest and the gradient development of tourist cities along the Silk Road are discussed. To build an urban system of tourist cities in the northwest will be helpful to the cooperation and development of the economy and society of the northwest. Even it will do good to the sustainable,healthy and fast development of the national economy and society and be significant to the regional development of travel industry.
