[The reticulocyte count and reticulocytogram of rat peripheral blood at early periods following non-uniform (fractionated) x-ray irradiation].

A study was made of the dynamics of changes in the number of reticulocytes in the peripheral blood and of reticulocytograms in rats subjected to partial (front or hind body parts) X-irradiation with LD100/10, LD50/30, and LD0/30. The degree of the post-irradiation reticulocytopenia and modification of reticulocytograms was a function of radiation dose as observed 1-3 h following irradiation of the front part and 48 h after irradiation of the hind part of the animal body.
