High-Average Power Second-Harmonic Generation in Li Triborate (LBO)

We report the generation of second harmonic average power exceeding 50 W in the TEM00 mode from a cwpumped mveling wave face pumped slab amplifer/Q-switched oscillator Nd:YAG laser using a non-critically phasematched lithium triborate doubling crystal.
