Novel all-dielectric nanoantenna for efficient reflectors irradiation

In this paper, we present a new kind of nanoantennas for effective illumination of parabolic surfaces, consisting of a dielectric hollow cylinder as a reflector and a dipole source as an emitter. Precisely chosen parameters of the nanoantenna design provides radiation pattern with broad main lobe and strongly suppressed side lobes. According to the simulation results, such pattern is quite similar to the ideal “ $\Pi$ ” configuration, necessary for efficient illuminating reflectors as shown in Figure 1.
