Security Issues and Challenges in IoT

2020
The term “IoT” refers to the interconnection of intelligent objects and the global network and allows people to be connected to a network and any service in any given place. The mismatch between the development of interactive smart things, smart systems, human understanding, and experience poses challenges to security, privacy, boundless technical, and trust outcomes. Internet of Things (IoT) protection is primarily aimed at protecting the privacy, confidentiality, ensuring user safety, data, infrastructure, and IoT devices, and ensuring the availability of IoT services. This chapter, which is based on recent IoT security research and provides a basis for better understanding of the future potential, deals with key challenges for the construction of IoT, security issues, and vulnerability causing attacks and threats.
