Forming method for sealed nickel-hydrogen storage battery

PURPOSE: To provide a forming method for a sealed nickel-hydrogen storage battery in which a battery, consisting of a negative electrode made of a hydrogen storage alloy containing an AB 2 adopting a Zr(Ti)-Ni as a base, a positive electrode made of nickel, and a separator, is used to exhibit excellent characteristics from the begining and keeps them for a long period. CONSTITUTION: Forming is performed containing such a process that at least initial charge is performed at a high temperature of 50-70°C, or such a process that temperature is sequentially lowered preferably from the initial charge or from the next charge.
