Analysis byin situ hybridization of the expression of elongation factor 1α in the carrot cells during somatic embryogenesis

The temporal and spatial expression of transcripts of CEM1, which encodes elongation factor 1α of carrot, was investigated byin situ hybridization in cell clusters and in somatic embryos at various stages. The localization of the transcripts changed dramatically during embryogenesis.
