Brightness temperatures and electron density in the solar polar coronal region on the basis of MW observations

2014
The work is devoted to the analysis of brightness temperatures and electron densities in the solar northern polar coronal hole at distances from one to two solar radii. The observations were carried out in the MW range at the RATAN-600 telescope. It is shown that the temperature parameters for points the closest to the solar limb in the region of polar coronal hole are close to the average brightness temperatures of coronal holes observed earlier at RATAN-600 out of polar regions on the quiet Sun. The electron density distribution found along the distance in the solar polar coronal region agrees with white-light observation results.
