Heterogeneous catalytic asymmetric dihydroxylation: Use of a polymer-bound alkaloid

Abstract By employing polymer-bound alkaloid derivatives, heterogeneous catalytic asymmetric dihydroxylation has been achieved with good to excellent enantioselectivities in the dihydroxylation of trans -stilbene. It has also been shown that the OsO 4 -polymer complex can be used for iterative processes.
