Conceptualizaciones a partir del relato de las experiencias educativas de los estudiantes del CENS 463 situado en la Unidad Penal Nº 4 de Bahía Blanca: Entre el sello de la cárcel y el sello de la escuela

The objective of this paper is to introduce the partial results of an ongoing research project that started in 2018. It is based on the analysis of the students’ account of their experience in the CENS 463, located in Villa Floresta Penitentiary in the city of Bahia Blanca. It aims to demonstrate the possible changes the students underwent as a result of the entry in this Educational Institution (CENS 463).Following the guidelines of a qualitative design backed by the Grounded Theory, the research team developed a series of categories on the subject of the students’ personal perception of the learning experience in the context of deprivation of liberty, and the identification of the effects the Institution had on them, concerning both, their own selves (the way they think, feel and behave) and their life plans.
