The invention relates to a spectrometer with a plurality of dispersive optical elements which are arranged such that entering the spectrometer electromagnetic radiation on the dispersive optical elements falls to be split there spectrally, wherein the dispersive optical elements with respect to their spatial position and / or distinguish its spectral resolving ability from each other and wherein the dispersive optical elements are arranged such that the spectra generated by the respective dispersive optical elements by the splitting of the electromagnetic radiation extending in the same direction and are transversely adjacent to said direction of the spectral splitting each other, and a spatially two-dimensionally resolving detector, which is for detecting at least part of the respective portions of the spectra in the beam path of the split electromagnetic radiation. The invention further relates to an analysis device for determining the absorption properties of solid, liquid or gaseous substances or substance mixtures with an inventive spectrometer, a source of electromagnetic radiation and, arranged between the electromagnetic radiation source and the spectrometer the optical measurement path for the product to be examined with the analytical device substances or mixtures of substances.
