Error Analysis on Parameters Measurement Model of Wheel-Mounted Four-Wheel Alignment

2020
Aiming at the problem that measurement models on different parameters would produce different theoretical errors, this paper proposes an error analysis method on parameters measurement model of wheel-mounted four-wheel alignment. Through the analysis of theoretical errors on different measurement models, we select the one with less error to improve measurement accuracy. The experiment results indicate that under experimental conditions, measurement model II on wheel camber angle, model I on kingpin inclination angle and model II on kingpin caster angle generate the less error respectively. This error analysis method can help select the optimal four-wheel alignment parameters measurement model and the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.
