Understanding these internal factors of tolerance for academic dishonesty opens the way to use not only administrative methods in the struggle for academic integrity of students but also the psychological and pedagogical methods. The author’s questionnaire “Tolerance to Academic Dishonesty” was used for the first time; it allowed determining the tolerance of students towards the separate key indicators of academic dishonesty and as a result, to assess their general level of the tolerance to academic dishonesty as high, middle or low. Empirically, the hypothesis about the existence of a link between the self-esteem, the aspirations level and the tolerance to academic dishonesty of the students was tested and confirmed. The students with a low level of aspiration and self-esteem are more likely to be more tolerance to dishonesty.
