A Medieval and Later Water Mill at Norton-on-Tees, Cleveland

AbstractNorton Mill, largely demolished during this century, was thought to have occupied its site continuously since the twelfth century and road construction offered the opportunity to test this view through excavation. A complex building chronology was revealed.
