Mechanism Study on High-Frequency Power Transmission Cable Based on Vector Fitting

As the siting of photovoltaic or wind power is generally far from the traditional power distribution network, long power transmission cables are often needed to transport electric energy. But the value of cable parasitic capacitance is large, the harmonic voltage in the power distribution network is apt to propagate along the transmission cable. With the proposed wideband modeling strategy, the mechanism of power transmission cable is studied through partial element equivalent circuit and vector fitting method. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed approach are verified by simulation and experiment.
