Como os estudos de Piaget e Kamii podem ser percebidos nos objetos de conhecimento apresentados na BNCC

2021
The Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), defines the essential learnings that the students must develop on diferentes phases of the Basic Education. On the text, there’s no specific definition about the methodological line used. Piaget, through the genetic epistemology, dfines how the knowledge is given to a child. Constance Kamii, applied the Piaget’s theory on trials with students and teachers during the research, during the research that he realized for his doctorate degree on 1985. This article seeks, through the bibliography research and documental, to analyze whether there is a relationship between the theories of Jean Piaget (1972; 1975; 2013) and Constance Kamii (1992; 1993; 1995), and BNCC (2017). The objects of knowledge in the area of Mathematics of the 1st year of Elementary School were analyzed, as well as the general and specific introductory text in the area of Mathematics. From his experiments, Kamii realized that the algorithms hinder the development of children's numerical sense. Based on the objects of knowledge of the thematic unit of Mathematics of the 1st year of Elementary School, there is no recommendation for teaching algorithms, as well as there is no introduction of subtraction. From the analysis carried out, the objects of knowledge of BNCC (2017) converge with the constructivist proposal of Piaget and Kamii with regard to the use of algorithms in the 1st year.
