This master thesis discusses selected species of sea buckthorn which belong between less known fruit. There are described basic nutritions and technological parameters of sea buckthorn and its using in technology of food and pharmacy. In the thesis I analysed seven Russian varieties of sea buckthorn and in their fruit were determined the nutritional indica-tors. The goal of this paper work is to popularize this kind of fruit.
