In Situ Raman Spectroscopy Study on Oxidative Dehydrogenationof Propane over VMgO Catalyst

1998
おhe interactions of VMgO catalyst with oxygen, propene, propane and propane/oxygen mixing gas under reaction temperature as well as reaction conditions were investigated respectively by in situ laser Raman spectroscopy. The results indicated that VMgO catalyst showed better reduced property and much lower reoxidation process. The oxidative dehydrogenation of propane over VMgO catalyst probably followed a Marsvan Krevelen type of lattice oxygen reaction mechanism. The surface lattice oxygen species on VMgO catalyst can react with propane quickly, while the activation of oxygen to regenerate the surface lattice oxygen species was an important and slower step to maintain the Marsvan Krevelen mechanism for the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane.
