Determination of Diameter Coefficient for Bamboo Fibril Yarn

Bamboo fiber is a kind of new environmental friendly and cool-type fiber with capacious foreground.The garments made from bamboo fiber are popular in people;however,the diameter coefficient required for garment design is still absented.Therefore,the microscopy projection method and image analysis software were employed to determine the fiber diameters of some widely used bamboo fibril yarn.And the effects of various tensions and twisting coefficient on the diameter coefficient were also discussed.The obtained value is 0.0355,which can be used as reference for the design and development of textile products.
