PKUTM at TREC 2010 blog track

Abstract : This paper describes the PKUTM participation in the TREC 2010 Blog Track. We only concentrated on the Faceted Blog Distillation Task this year. Our system adopts a two-stage approach for this task. In the first stage, our system makes use of an IR platform - indri to obtain the top N ad-hoc topic-relevant blog posts for each query. In the second stage, different models are designed to identify the facet inclination. The experimental results show the effectiveness of our approach.
