Methods of estimating the kinetics of drying and distribution of oiling agent and binder over the fibre length

An analytical model was developed which allows assessing the distribution of oiling agent over the pack layers with high accuracy. A method for operative distribution of a liquid and dry residue of oiling agent over pack layers at any time is described and the characteristic features of the change in the liquid and dry part of the oiling agent over the pack layers during drying are reported. The results obtained indicate the predominant effect of the thermodynamic indexes of the oiling agent, surface properties of the fibre, and climatic conditions of drying on migration of the oiling agent in the pack.
