Burdur, Isparta ve Eskişehir illerindeki örtüaltı sebze yetiştiriciliğinde sorun olan kök-ur nematodları ( Meloidogyne spp . )'nınfungal ve bakteriyel patojenlerinin belirlenmesi üzerine araştırmalar

2009
This study was conducted to determine the pathogen of root knot nematodes in Burdur, Isparta and Eskisehir provinces during 2002-2006 where protected vegetables are commonly produced and it is known that root knot nematodes become a problem. The main material of the study are soil samples and juveniles and females of root knot nematodes collected from galls of the plants as well as fungi cultures obtained from egg mass. Soil and plant samples are collected randomly from 10% of protected vegetable production areas in survey region. Root knot nematodes are obtained by extracting soil samples and galls. For the identification of the species of root knot nematodes, perennial paterns of females and second stage juveniles are used. Meloidogyne javanica (Treub), M. incognita (Kofoid and White) and M. hapla (Chitwood) are identified from the samples collected. Fungal isolates of Paecilomyces, Fusarium , Aspergillus and Penicillium genuses are obtained from M. javanica and M. incognita females and egg masses. Among the fungi isolated , Fusarium solani, Aspergillus sp. and Penicillum sp. are saprophytic fungi and are known not to be used in biological control studies. The other fungus isolated, Paecilomyces, is an important biologic agent of root knot nematodes. This isolate is identified as P. lilacinus. In pathogenity tests performed, the eggs of M. incognita and M. javanica purecultures are used and at the end of the 3rd day P. lilacinus is found to be 100% effective against these two species. One of the bacteria isolated was determined that killed the root knot nematodes according to the pathogenicity test and grown in nematode. By the result of biochemical properties of the isolate, it's identified as Telluria chitinolytica ( Pseudomonas mixta ).
