Tightly coupled'' simulation utilizing the EBR-II LMR: A real-time supercomputing and AI environment

An integrated Supercomputing and AI environment utilizing a CRAY X-MP/216, a fiber-optic communications link, a distributed network of workstations and the Experimental Breeder Reactor II (EBR-II) Liquid Metal Reactor (LMR) and its associated instrumentation and control system is being developed at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL).
