Neurovascular involvement in central odontogenic fibroma: a potential source of confusion with invasive carcinoma

Sir: Central odontogenic fibroma (COdF) is one of themost poorly defined odontogenic tumours, whose bio-logical profile remains incompletely understood (Ref-erences S1). It shows a wide histological spectrum,and there are interesting reports that ameloblastoma,carcinoma or sarcoma developed from some COdFafter recurrence.
