The influence of biomass properties on its combustion

By the biomass combustion experiment in circulating fluidizedbed,this paper discussed the effects of particle size,density and surface roughness of straws on combustion condition.The particle size influenced the eduction of volatile of straws,as well as heat transmission process.The density of straws had effects on the circulation of stock and heat transfer coefficient.And the surface roughness directly influenced the heat exchange by radiation.Compared with coal,straws express its own characteristic which should be according to design the combustion in circulating fluidized bed.The experiment results proved that the combustion temperature in hearth of circulating fluidized bed should be regulated under the range of 800～900℃.
