Influence of High Bureaucratic Involvement and Nepotism on Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance in public sector organizations of Pakistan

High bureaucratic Involvement (HBI) and nepotism is often viewed as natural and expected in Public sector organizations. The aim of the study is to test HBI, employee performance (EP) with mediation of job satisfaction (JS) and nepotism. The study is following positivism paradigm and design of study is deductive in inquiry methods. Stratified random sampling is used to collect data of 237 employees of public sector organizations in Pakistan. HBI has to understand influence of nepotism for better EP and getting JS. Public sectors of Pakistan are highly in needs of implementing job practices to increase JS level and performance turn out. JS is more productive and skilled for contributing towards developed performance. Organizations carry their practices to enhance productivity. By concluding in nutshell, JS and EP are highly dependable on HBI similarly JS has significant effect on EP so both cannot be neglected. Public sector organizations need to develop policies for better EP, JS to overcome on nepotism and HBI. They are reluctant to participate, not able to match their practice with productivity. The study is limited to public sector organizations of Pakistan. Further research takes into consideration by taking variable as mediating further relationship, by covering time and meeting cost including action research can be taken in groups of samples relationship of variables for further exploration. The worth of the study is in its contextual theoretically jointed skeleton that has rarely been studies earlier.
