Application of Digital State Variable Filters for Resonance Mitigation on a Wind Turbine Torque Control with Finite Precision

This paper deals with the analysis of the proper implementation of second order recursive digital filters in Digital Signal Processors for applications with low bandwidths and high sampling frequencies, such as the filtering of mechanical resonances on a FIX2VAR SPEED autonomous power conversion system. Simulation results were evaluated in order to verify the performance of the proposed filtering structures prior to real application implementation and validation.
