Impirical Study on the Rural Social Development Situation Since the Ecological Restoration in Farming-Pastoral Transitional Zone——A Case of Wuchuan County

Wuchuan County is the core areas of farming-pastoral transitional zone in Inner Mongolia Hohhot, through the survey of households obtain the status of social development and progress of science and technology. The study results show that in the rural migrant workers increase, and farmer's income augment, and farmers strengthen the certain awareness, more than half of farmers willing to continue farming, and contracting, subcontracting, leasing land-use patterns coexist since the ecological restoration. Agricultural policies more conducive to the farmer's income,and the ecological environment has not significantly improved, and it have serious drought and pests. The proportion of agricultural inputs has significantly increased, and agricultural mechanization level has increased, and promotion of agricultural technology is low. Empirical Study results provide some basis to establish farming industry science and technology, disaster prevention planning, and so on for the local government.
