The Research of Color Image Segmentation Algorithm Based on HIS Color Space

Color images include not only the brightness information,but also more effective information,including hue and saturation.To fully use the information to get better image segmentation,this paper chose HIS color space.Compared with RGB,HIS color space is more consistent with human visual characteristics,so that it can achieve better segmentation.
