Uncertainty Evaluation of Differential Sampling System Using AC Programmable Josephson Voltage Standard

In this paper, we analyzed the error transfer function of AC voltage differential sampling system which is based on switching measurement. Then, three factors, the relative phase, the number of steps and the sampling window, that influence the uncertainty of the RMS amplitude measurement are identified. After evaluation of those three components, we concluded that the combined standard uncertainty budget is ${0.3 \mu} \text{V}/\text{V.}$
