Technology Standard Strategy and Alliance Formations under Chinese Institutions

With theoretical research and case analysis method,this paper extracted the main characteristics about technology innovation institution and the current environments in China,and sorted out the frames of technology standard-setting strate gies and their corresponding alliance formations.Then,the organization and operation mechanisms of standard-setting allianc es in each frame were analyzed including principle problems.Finally,the paper proposed some suggestions for improving the efficiency of Chinese standard-setting alliance,from the aspects of initiation arrangement,partner structure in alliance,and the intensity of partner relations.
