Image Encryption Based on Fully Phase Encoding and Pixel Scrambling in Gyrator Transform Domain

2018
This paper presents a novel optical image encryption scheme using fully phase encoding and pixel scrambling techniques in gyrator transform domain. The primary image will be firstly scrambled using chaotic cat map, and then encoded into a phase-only complex function. Finally, the complex data will be transformed into gyrator transform domain. An iterative structure is designed for security enhancement of the cryptosystem. In the proposed cryptosystem, control parameters of the chaotic map and rotation angle of gyrator transform serve as the secret keys. Numerical simulations and security analyses demonstrate the high security performance and noise resistance of the proposed scheme.
