This study approaches a teaching and research activity to the Agroecology discipline in the Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Course of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, Rondonopolis-MT. Natural Agriculture (NA) is characterized by the agricultural handling that stands out for ecological balance. The main objective of this work was to know the characteristics of a garden handled by the principles of NA correlating them to the of Agroecology. The garden is owned the Kazama Family and is located in the urban area of the city. The exploratory and qualitative research was realized through visits and non-standard interview. The results show that the production is very diverse and that it is cultivated up to 33 and 35 cultivation varieties such as vegetables, leguminous plants and greens. The production is sold in markets in the city and in the farm. It is concluded that the vegetable garden is the only example of NA in the city and production diverse is considered efficient.
