Increasing production costs combined with r ecent and pending environmental legislation ar e forcing Arkansas’ rice producers to find new ways to maintain their pro­ ductivity without degrading the natural r esource base on which they depend. The objective of this work was to evaluate the potential for shifting to no-till rice pr oduc­ tion using curr ent and novel cr op rotations.
