Study of the Nonlinear Phenomena in Ceramic Dielectric Composite Used in Compact PFLs

This paper presents a study for developing a new composite for compact pulse forming lines (PFLs) in linear applications using PZT ceramic dispersed in the epoxy as the polymer matrix. This work is based on previous results obtained with polymer composites with barium titanate, which is not ideal for the PFL application due to the stronger nonlinearity characteristic presented by this type of ceramic.
