Method of selecting H.264/AVC frame to frame motion estimation mode

This invention puts forward a method for selecting H.264/AVC interframe motion estimation modes, which divides a macroblock into modes of different sizes based on the acute degree of the interframe motion of the macroblock to get optimized predicted modes then searching for the optimum matched point by different search methods based on the acute degree of the interframe motion of the macroblock to further get the optimized predicted modes, finally, utilizing the operation rate deformation and optimization to determine the optimum mode.
