Effects of Different Preservatives on Fresh Keeping of Cut Carnation Flower

Three preservatives all could increase fresh weight and diameter, improve water balance, inhibit per-oxidase activity and prolong vase life of cut carnation flower. The best treatment is 40 mg · L-1 benziod acid +50 mg · L-1 AgNO3 +3%sucrose +200 mg · L-1 8-HQ.
