An embodiment of the invention discloses a cell block embedding machine and an embedding method. The embedding machine comprises a centrifuge and an embedding assembly consisting of an embedding base and a centrifugal test tube, wherein the opening end of the centrifugal test tube is detachably connected with a connecting part on the embedding base; a centrifugal cavity is defined by the inner surface of a pot body of the centrifuge, and a first heater is arranged on the inner wall of the bottom surface; a spindle of a centrifugal motor extends into the centrifugal cavity, and a mounting seat for fixing a centrifugal rotating disc is fixed at the top; the centrifugal rotating disc comprises a plurality of rotating disc supports which are distributed circumferentially uniformly and provided with non-penetrating fixing grooves; and tilt angles are formed between the fixing grooves and the axis of the centrifugal rotating disc. During cell block embedding, the centrifuge controls the temperature precisely and can perform multiple temperature gradient centrifugation operations on cell blocks, the cell blocks are wrapped with a matrix, loss of cells is effectively prevented, and the embedding quality of the cell blocks is improved; besides, the cell blocks can be acquired once due to the detachable combination of the embedding base and the centrifugal test tube, and the embedding efficiency of the cell blocks is further improved.
