Synthesis of New N-Arylsulfonylindoles and In Vitro Assay for Fungicidal Activity

ABSTRACTNew N-arylsulfonylindoles were synthesised with high yields by interaction between indole and various arylsulfonylchlorides under phase transfer catalysis conditions. All new compounds were tested against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi and showed very high fungicidal activity.
