Entendeu ou Quer Que Desenhe? Utilizando Mapas Mentais na Disciplina Teoria Geral da Administração / Did You Get it or Should i Spell Out? Using Mind Maps on General Administration Theory Course

A sistematizacao do conhecimento aprendido em aula varia entre as pessoas, podendo ser utilizadas diferentes estrategias metodologicas neste processo. Os mapas mentais despontam como uma destas estrategias que auxiliam a processar, estruturar e relacionar as informacoes adquiridas, representando uma ferramenta para a sistematizacao do conhecimento. Destarte, verifica-se a necessidade de compreender de que maneira seu uso pode auxiliar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da Administracao. Objetivou-se neste estudo analisar as percepcoes de discentes do bacharelado em Sistemas de Informacao, matriculados na disciplina Teoria Geral da Administracao, apos sistematizarem o conteudo ministrado em aulas, atraves de um mapa mental como ferramenta didatica. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como um estudo de caso, qualitativa e descritiva. Constatou-se que os discentes consideram importante a orientacao do docente para o desenvolvimento da metodologia, alem de observarem como positivo o fato de a atividade ser feita em grupo e em sala de aula, demonstrando a relevância de que seja disponibilizado espaco propicio. Ressaltaram que o objetivo do mapa foi atingido, uma vez que conseguiram sistematizar a evolucao do pensamento administrativo e estimular a criatividade. Destacaram como um ponto negativo a falta de coesao na divisao de tarefas no grupo e afirmaram que utilizariam a estrategia em outras oportunidades. Palavras-chave: Mapas Mentais. Ensino de Administracao. Metodologias Ativas. ABSTRACT The systematization of knowledge learnt in class varies between people and different methodological strategies can be used in this process. Mind maps emerge as one of these strategies, which help to process, structure and relate acquired information, representing a tool for such systematization. Therefore, there is a need for understanding how its use can help on the teaching/learning process in Administration courses. This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of information systems undergraduate students enrolled in General Administration Theory course, after systematizing the content taught in class using a mind map as a didactic tool. This research is characterized as a case study, descriptive and qualitative. It was found that the students consider it important to have a teacher guidance for the development of the methodology, and see as positive the fact that they work in groups in the classroom, what shows the importance of providing an appropriate space. They also highlighted that the map purpose was achieved since they could systematize the development of the administrative thought and stimulate creativity. As a negative point, they indicate the lack of cohesion in dividing tasks among the group but they stated that they would use the strategy in other opportunities. Keywords: Mind Maps.
