The Role of Key Qualifications and Their Implementation in the New Study System

Employers want job beginners, who have academic education but also profound knowledge to handle with multiple situations and so to contribute to the firm's success. As a part of the Bologna Agreement, the design of new bachelor programs shall provide a certain level of training in soft skills besides the special knowledge of the subject. This is due to calls by politicians and companies that graduates studied long, too long, but are not prepared for an immediate start into business. The author explains how to understand and educate key qualifications in the new study system.
