Noch einmal: Krankheit und Kraftverkehr - mehr Konsequenz gefordert (insbesondere auf Seiten der Aerzteschaft)

Vorgestellt und besprochen werden 4 aktuelle Gerichtsurteile zur Problematik „Krankheit und Kraftfahreignung“, insbesondere auch in hoeherem Lebensalter. Speziell bei den sogenannten „raetselhaften“ Verkehrsunfaellen besteht die strafprozessuale Aufklaerungspflicht auch im Hinblick auf krankheitsbedingte Unfallursachen. Diese Problematik ist sowohl beim Verkehrsgerichtstag als auch bei der Bundesaerztekammer wohlbekannt und es werden Eingriffsmoeglichkeiten beziehungsweise praeventive Ansaetze auf Seiten der Aerzteschaft reklamiert. Hinter einer relevanten Anzahl scheinbar „raetselhafter“ Verkehrsunfaelle verbirgt sich grosses menschliches Leid, aber auch ein Versaeumnis bezueglich aerztlicher Interventions- und Praeventionsmassnahmen. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: This study was undertaken to identify cognitive and medical deficits of car drivers by the analysis of four sentences of the traffic court. A considerable number of mysterious accidents are obviously caused by old aged drivers and persons in poor health. Police and justice should take the responsibility to clear up the underlying facts by forensic medical and pharmacological/toxicological investigations of blood, urine, and hair of the involved driers. The underlying problems of cognitive and medical imbalances are well known to nearly everybody (including family members, friends, and neighbors). Preventive, reconstructive and juridical aspects have been addressed by psychological and medical associations, technical engineers, driving instructors and traffic police. Physicians’ warnings and information for unfit drivers among their patients are of extraordinary value concerning traffic safety. (A)
