Technology Integration in Education

21stcentury is an electronic age where to a layman it appears that gadgets perform many tasks easily and dominate our lives. So also, education is one such field where technology is used immensely in admission tests, classroom interaction and so on. In this article, author discusses the meaning of technology integration, the paradigms of technology integration, need for technology integration, the types of technology integration, and levels of technology integration and models of technology integration. Strategies of technology integration in math, science, social studies and English are explained. What factors affect technology integration is dealt besides the features of successful technology integration. The paper concludes that the access, collaboration, and personalized student learning is important,but it is the mindset of the teachers that is significant in seamless integration of technology in the classroom.
