The Design of Helicalgear Datebase Based on UG /Open

This paper introduces a method that uses UG /Open to design the strength of gears under the VC environment.,and realizes that builds the unified gear models,thus it developed special gear model database,the gears w hich are usually designed are joined into data w arehouse,the geometry of helicalgear is modeling based on UG / Open Grip,the users input the necessary parameters of the helicalgear in interface part,and the corresponding geometry of the models is quickly generated.
