The first electrical connection (2) and the second electrical connection (5) of the adapter (1) are connected for transferring medical electrical signals electrically. The adapter (1) comprises the housing (8), the first and the second electrical connection to the (2) and (5) are formed. On the housing (8) is formed, the recess (9) which is for receiving and gripping around at least a portion of the implantable electromedical device (4) is arranged or formed.
