Investigation of DPSK and OQPSK Techniques for FSO Communication Systems

Nowadays the use of free space optical communication in the market is increasing greatly, the main reason is that its transmission and band width are very optimal. In the work being proposed, two types of Phase shift systems have been compared. The height of the eye, the rate of error in the bit, the variety of signals given in the input, and the distance to be transmitted to the transmission medium, etc., all these facts have been measured with accuracy. Special attention has been paid to various types of effects of free space optical channels. Two types of digital modulation formats have been considered in this analysis. The results have been compared by the already available methods by doing simulation by theory idea, mathematics model and computation. In the proposed work, a variety of optimal encoding schemes were analyzed, which can help in estimating the design parameters to achieve optimal performance.
