Women and men can work together toward gender equity in decision-making for sustainable water management. This requires changes in the game ruless of decision-making processes, changes in the way we select, present and distribute information about water management, and changes in the way we tech water management related sciences. If we have more knowledge about the specific contribution women can and want to make to water-management, then it will be easier to effectuate those changes and evaluate their effectiveness
